Italia - Libia
El 30 de agosto 2008, despues de decenas de tratados, el Primo ministro Italiano, Silvio Berlusconi, encuentra al lider de la revolucion libiana, Muammar Gheddafi, en Benghazi en donde firman el Tratado de amistad, compañerismo y cooperacion entre la Republica Italiana y la Grande Giamahiria arabe Libiana popular socialista. Italia en este modo, se compromete a pagar en los proximos 20 años 5 mil millones de dolares a Libia para resarcir el pasado colonial. En el mismo momento Italia le devuelve a Libia la estatua de Venus de Cirene.
El 6 de febrero 2009 el parlamento italiano promulga la ley 7/2009 que rectifica y da ejecucion y autentica el tratado de amistad, compañerismo y cooperacion.
El 1 de marzo 2009 el congreso general del pueblo libiano ractifica al mismo tiempo el tratado de amistad, compañerismo y cooperacion.
El 2 de marzo 2009 con el intercambio de las ractificas entre Berlusconi y Gheddafi en Sirte el Tratado de amistad, compañerismo y cooperacion entra oficialmente en vigor.

El 14 de diciembre 2014 se celebró en La Habana, capital de Cuba, la decimotercera cumbre de los Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno de la Alianza Bolivariana para los pueblos de nuestra América – Tratado de Comercio de los pueblos con la participación de una quincena de delegaciones. La cumbre ha terminado con la aprobación de la declaración final, la admisión de Granada y San Cristóbal y Nieves como nuevos miembros y la conmemoración del décimo aniversario del ALBA-TCP.

"...The longest rail link in the world and the first direct link between China and Spain is up and running after a train from Yiwu in coastal China completed its maiden journey of 8,111 miles to Madrid. En route it passed through Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany and France before arriving at the Abroñigal freight terminal in Madrid. The railway has been dubbed the "21st-century Silk Road" by Li Qiang, the governor of Zhejiang province, where Yiwu is located.
