‍‍Reparations to Africa

At the African Union level the path to reparations continued from 10 to 13 July 2025 with the Seventh Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union during which the Executive Council of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union decided to extend the focus on reparations for a decade, covering the period from 2026 to 2036. 

‍Focus on: South Africa - Apartheid 

Apartheid in South Africa began the second half of the Forties of last century with the National Party's election victory and it finished in the first half of the Nineties with the reforms started by President Frederik Willem de Klerk and completed by President Nelson Mandela.
